We endeavor to accompany our clients on a fascinating and exciting journey of exploration through the world of Bespoke Tailoring.
It should be a process that not only grants knowledge about the art of Tailoring but also leads the client in a process of
self-discovery
and personal refinement that encompasses all the facets of what can be defined as
personal style. This can include advice regarding not only the most traditional of garments, the coat and trousers, but also suggestions regarding dress code for events and choices in matter of a sleuth of appropriate accessories.
How we work
Stemming from a proud Roman tradition, our garments are almost entirely hand-made, with little use even of traditional sewing machines.
The process involves the clients thoroughly as we accompany them through the various stages of the creation of their piece.
First step
A bespoke experience begins with an appointment in which we get to know the client and try to understand what kind of garment they have in mind. Advice can both be asked for and will be provided in case of need. This includes everything spanning from dress code elements to what kind of materials are best suited to each item.
Once this process is over, and a decision has been made, fabric bunches will be provided to make a decision in terms of which materials clients want. Following this, measurements are taken and an appointment can be made for a first fitting.
The process
Our process to create a bespoke suit involves three fittings:
The first one features a fully basted garment and involves verifying if the measurements, the desired cut and chosen style are satisfying.
The second fitting will include a fully fashioned front, pockets and a trial sleeve, this appointment is crucial to verify that the fit is correct.
Finally, the purpose of the last fitting is to iron out any final issues and to select chosen detailing such as the choice of buttons.
Craftsmanship
It is of crucial importance to us that the handmade nature of our work is appreciated.
All garments are cut by hand following unique patterns which are specifically made for each client. These patterns can then be improved upon to ensure a flawless fit.
Each garment is then basted by hand for the first fitting. Coats are fully canvassed by hand and feature traditional, aesthetically driven tecniques, such as pick stitching and hand-made buttonholes, available in both traditional and Milanese styles where appropriate. Trousers sport the traditional internal skirting and are available both with a zip and buttons.

These prices already include a high quality solid color "basic fabric" and may change based on the fabric actually chosen.
We have a curated selection of different types of fabrics: from light wools suitable for all seasons, available in different weights and thread qualities, to the ultra-light summer ones, Irish linen and seersucker cotton here included, up to the heavier flannels and tweeds, perfect for winter suits and coats.
Sustainability
We would like to dedicate a section to this important concept which lies close to our hearts. Becoming a tailor is more than a profession, it is an environmentally conscious choice. There is considerable distance between the slow, painstaking work that goes into handcrafting a garment and the world of waste and excess that characterizes the modern industry of fast fashion. Clients will thus benefit from a completely handmade process which elevates workers from being a mere number and instead gives them the individual power to forge what can only be defined as a small work of art.
A foray into our world can be a journey that lasts a lifetime. Our suits are individually made with exactly that concept in mind. They are constructed to last and will be able to accompany a client throughout their daily lives for decades.
